The Challenge
The British Army set out to create a training app to help potential recruits get fit and ready for selection. But the brief evolved — opening the experience to anyone wanting to train like a soldier. The challenge was to design a robust fitness platform that stayed true to military standards, while remaining accessible and motivating for all users.
The Response
I worked closely with the team on extensive prototyping, user testing, and UI development, shaping an intuitive experience grounded in the British Army’s brand guidelines. The result was a seamless, distraction-free app optimised for users mid-workout — helping people of all levels push their limits and see if they’d make the cut.
