The Challenge
Arsenal’s global supporter base spans continents, cultures, and visual traditions. The challenge was to create a unified set of stadium banners that could honour this diversity while remaining unmistakably Arsenal — bold enough to command space at scale, and authentic enough to feel supporter-led rather than corporate.
The Response
Working directly with Arsenal, I designed and produced 187 banners and flags representing 150 official supporter groups worldwide. Each piece was individually crafted, drawing on historic football iconography, colour, and form, then photographed by hand to capture the movement and texture of real fabric. The result was a stadium-wide visual system that balanced global identity with local pride — transforming supporter voices into a collective, physical expression inside the Emirates.
